My Story
ABOUT ME
One morning, while visiting home for the holidays, I made a promise;
I told myself that I was no longer going to continue to wake up feeling tired.
And so, my healing, this journey of returning to who I really am, became my priority.
I went to school for Industrial Engineering because of my passion and love for improvement. Equipped with a growth mindset, I wanted to learn and sharpen my skills to be able to efficiently optimize any system or organization that I came across.
Just after finishing my college career, I began to write. I wanted to find a way to express myself, my feelings and what I was going through, while at the same time, be able to connect with those who were experiencing similar situations as me.
Writing has gotten me through the dark days;
giving me hope,
and through the lighter days;
feeling love and appreciation.
I have come to realize that even on the darkest days of my life,
I am not alone.
Likewise, on your darkest days,
you are not alone.
With my newfound journey of healing and helping others heal, I went on to publish two poetry books that focus on personal development and growth. It was in this time that I was reminded that the world needs our art.
I want to inspire people to fall in love, once again, with being themselves.
And how will I do so? By starting with myself. By serving as an inspiration and as a beacon of hope that it is possible to go from hating yourself to realizing that you have meaning and purpose in this world. We all stray away from our paths due to our experiences, but it is up to us to come back to ourselves. To come back to who we really are, so that we can efficiently give the gifts that we came here to give. To uplift the human consciousness.
With my degree in Industrial Engineering, alongside my other qualifications that I have acquired along the way, I hope to understand myself more every day, which will allow me to further understand others.
To offer guidance, company, love, hope and healing.
I wish that these words can bring you comfort, so you can trust that you are growing into the person you are meant to become.
I love you,
phillip
